I met Mr. Dourif at Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA (2003) and it was a
pleasure meeting such a nice guy. I’ve enjoyed his acting in
such films as Alien: Resurrection, Child's Play, Child's Play 2, Child's
Play 3, & Bride of Chucky as the voice of Chucky, Mississippi
Burning (which was filmed in LaFayette, AL about a 30 minute drive
from my house), Dune (1984), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and
possibly my favorite as Gríma Wormtongue in The Lord of the
Rings: The Two Towers & The Return of the King. I’ve also
enjoyed the characters he played in Star Trek: Voyager as Ensign Lon
Suder, Babylon 5 as Brother Edward, and The X Files as Luther Lee
Boggs. It truly was a pleasure meeting him after seeing & watching
him in all these great shows. I would’ve liked to talk with
him more, but that would’ve taken ALL day. Other people were
in line waiting to meet him. Anyway, enough babbling. It was a true
pleasure meeting you, Mr. Dourif (in case you read this) and hopefully
our paths will cross again at another convention. Thanks…Ryan
